The Consejera De Economía, Conocimiento y Empleo, of the regional government of Spain's autonomous region of las Islas Canarias, Elena Máñez Rodríguez, has signed the gazetted list of 2022 regional non-working public holidays in the Canaries Islands, on behalf of the Presidente Del Gobierno, Ángel Víctor Torres Pérez (Fiestas de la Comunidad Autónoma de Canarias para el año 2022).

It contains all the nationwide Spanish public holidays and, to these, adds regional and municipal public holidays specific to each of the individual islands that make up the Canaries (El Hierro, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, Lanzarote, La Palma, and Tenerife).

As was done most past years (2019-06-06, 2018-07-03, 2017-09-08, 2016-05-20, 2016-05-11, 2015-08-06, 2014-05-16, 2013-07-19, 2012-09-07 and 2011-07-29), but not all (2020-10-13), the aforementioned announcement contains the May 30 "Día de Canarias", as well as the Monday after Christmas Day 2022.
