The Government of Estonia has announced the annual list of Estonian national holidays, Estonian flag days, and non-working public holidays in Estonia for the calendar year 2022.

The aforementioned announcement by the Vabariigi Valitsus of the non-working public holidays in Estonia for the calendar year 2022, once again (2020-12-29, 2019-12-21, 2018-12-02, 2017-11-28, 2016-12-11, 2016-01-09, 2015-01-06, 2014-01-03 and 2013-01-06), makes no mention of various bills (2012-01-23 and 2011-05-17), to add Russian Orthodox Christmas as a new annual non-working public holiday in Estonia and to make Easter Monday a non-working public holiday in Estonia.

In 2022, more than half of Estonia's public holidays will fall on a weekend and therefore be lost as no day in lieu public holiday is given in Estonia if a public holiday falls on a weekend.
