The government of Grenada has issued a press release ruling-out the possible declaration of Monday, May 3, 2021, as a day in lieu public holiday, due to May 1st falling on a Saturday in 2021.

The aforementioned statement "Please be advised that Saturday May 1, 2021 is a public holiday. Therefore, the annual Labour Day (May Day) Holiday will be observed on that day. There is no public holiday on Monday May 3, 2021." is in line with the list of official non-working public holidays in Grenada for the year 2021, as announced, earlier this year (2021-01-11).
