The States of Guernsey (the Guernsey Government) has published its official list of annual non-working public holidays in Guernsey, for the calendar year 2021.
The Guernsey list of official public holidays is extended at irregular intervals, with the 2012-2013 Guernsey public holidays announced (2010-04-08), then 2014 Guernsey public holidays (2011-03-02), then the 2015-2016 public holidays in Guernsey (2014-07-20), then the 2017 Guernsey public holidays (2016-08-20), the 2018 Guernsey public holidays (2017-03-19), and the 2019 Guernsey public holidays (2018-08-29).
As per the aforementioned announcement, based on customary law and "The Public Holidays Ordinance, 2009", the announced dates of non-working public holidays in Guernsey, for the calendar year 2021, apply to the islands of Guernsey, Herm and Jethou, with the island of Alderney observing one specific public holiday, and observing the Summer Bank Holiday on a different date than the islands of Guernsey, Herm and Jethou.
