The government of Iceland has released its annual official list of non-working public holidays and bank holidays in Iceland for the upcoming year 2021.

As in past announcements (2020-07-31, 2019-11-11, 2012-11-25, 2011-12-04 and 2010-11-14), but contrary to the preceding 5 years (2018-11-04, 2017-11-26, 2016-12-19, 2015-12-20, 2014-12-24 and 2013-12-11), the December 24 non-working public holiday in Iceland seems to be a half-day non-working public holiday, though not a bank holiday.
