Indian Central Government 2021 Public Holidays Extended

The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions of India's Central Government has announced that April 14, 2021, would be a public holiday for all central government offices including industrial establishments.

The aforementioned announcement ("It has been decided to declare Wednesday, 14th April, 2021 as a public holiday on account of the birthday of Dr B R Ambedkar, for all Central Government Offices, including Industrial Establishments throughout India by invoking the powers under Section 25 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881") thus extends the list of public holidays and restricted holidays in all the Administrative Offices of the Central Government of India, for the calendar year 2021, as announced last year, in the Dopt order 10.6.2020 F.No.12/9/2020-JCA-2 (2020-06-13).
