The Jordanian Minister of State for Media Affairs, Ali Al-Ayed, and the Jordanian Minister of Culture, Bassem Al-Towaisi, have jointly announced that Sunday, April 11, 2021, would be declared a one-off public holiday in Jordan, to coincide with the centennial celebration of the founding of the Jordanian state.
Today's announcement of Sunday, April 11, 2021, as a one-off public holiday in Jordan, thus amends the list of religious and national non-working public holidays and bank holidays in Jordan for the calendar year 2021, as released last autumn (2020-10-08).
