Lebanon Declares August 4th Anniversary Public Sector Holiday

The Presidency of the Lebanese Council of Ministers has announced a public sector holiday, in Lebanon, on August 4, 2021, to mark the first anniversary of the 2020 Beirut Port explosion.

The aforementioned announcement, titled "national mourning and the disruption of public administrations, public institutions, and municipalities on the anniversary of the tragic Beirut Port explosion", states that "On Wednesday, August 4th, public administrations and institutions, in addition to municipalities, will be closed".
