Liberian National Flag Day Public Holiday August 24

The President of Liberia, George Manneh Weah, has issued a proclamation declaring Tuesday, August 24, 2021, as a non-working public holiday to be observed throughout the Republic of Liberia as national non-working public holidays on account of National Flag Day which falls on Saturday, August 24, 2019, this calendar year.

The National Legislature of the Republic of Liberia approved on October 25, 1915, an act declaring the 24th day of August of each year as "National Flag Day", to be observed throughout the Republic as a National Holiday.
