The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Lithuania has announced the annual dates of official non-working public holidays and bank holidays in Lithuania for the upcoming calendar year 2021.

The aforementioned list public holidays and bank holidays in Lithuania for the upcoming calendar year 2021 includes the new annual Lithuanian public holiday, on November 2, All Souls' Day, added to the calendar of Lithuanian public holidays in 2019 (2019-06-14), as well as December 24, Christmas Eve, which was declared as a new annual public holiday in 2010 (2010-12-13).

Lithuania seems to have definitely abandoned the practice of declaring bridge public holidays, compensated by working Saturdays, begun in 2005 (2005-10-17 and 2009-12-28), barely maintained 10 years ago (2010-12-29), and not applied for the 9 subsequent years (2020-01-10, 2019-01-15, 2018-01-10, 2017-01-07, 2015-12-20, 2015-01-05, 2014-01-10, 2013-01-08 and 2012-01-04).
