Mali's Government has released its annual list of the official non-working public holidays in Mali for the calendar year 2021.

The aforementioned announcement of the official non-working public holidays in Mali for the calendar year 2021, follows the "Loi No.05-40 du 22 juillet 2005 relative aux fêtes légales en République du Mali" which overhauled Mali's list of official non-working public holidays, almost a decade ago (2005-09-12 and 2005-07-04), most notably by adding a non-working public holiday for the Prophet's Baptism, thus making Mali the only country in the world to mark this date as a public holiday, as was the case for similar past announcements (2020-01-13, 2019-01-15, 2019-01-15, 2016-12-19, 2015-12-20, 2014-11-03, 2013-10-28, 2012-10-17 and 2012-01-12).

Later, one-off public holidays in the Mali are always possible (2019-11-14, 2019-11-08, 2019-09-19, 2019-06-02, 2019-05-29, 2018-09-17, 2018-09-10, 2018-07-14, 2018-06-14, 2018-06-12, 2018-06-10).

In particular, for the past few years, Mali has declared its End of Ramadan public holiday earlier than any country (2020-05-22, 2019-06-04 and 2018-06-14).
