The State Organizing Secretary of the All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC) of Meghalaya, David Lyngdoh, has written to the Deputy Secretary of the General Administration Department of the State of Meghalaya to request that a one-off bank holiday be declared on Monday, April 12, 2021, under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, on account of Shad Suk Mynsiem.
The current list of 2021 public holidays and bank holidays in the Indian state of Meghalaya is set out in Annexure 2 (No.GAA. No GAA.88/2020/48) of the Government Order No.GAA.88/2020/48, signed by the Deputy Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, General Administration Department, as released late last year (2020-12-09).
