Moldova's Cabinet is to consider a draft decision to declare Monday, August 30, 2021, as a one-off public holiday to bridge the one-day gap between the August 31st, National Language Day public holiday, and the preceding weekend.
The declaration of Monday, August 30, 2021, as a one-off public sector holidays in Moldova, if approved, would be in addition to the list of 2021 annual non-working public holidays in Moldova (2020-12-11).
A few years ago, Moldova's Cabinet had similarly declared Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, August 28-29-30, 2018, as a one-off bridge public sector holidays in Moldova to link one weekend and the annual August 27 public holiday and the next weekend and the annual August 31 public holiday of Moldova (2020-11-26).
