The Moldovan Government Decision no. 108 of July 14, 2021 on the transfer of a day of rest in 2021 has been gazetted in today's Moldovan Official Gazette (no. 168-174 art. 180), with the measures applying to ministries and other central administrative authorities, while for the real (private) sector, the decision has the character of a recommendation ("pentru unitățile din sectorul real al economiei, această hotărâre are caracter de recomandare").
At the beginning of the month (2021-07-01), Moldova's Cabinet had finally (2021-05-20) decided to declare Monday, August 30, 2021, as a one-off public sector holiday to bridge the one-day gap between the August 31st, National Language Day public holiday, and the preceding weekend, which is itself immediately preceded by the August 27 Independence Day public holiday, thus creating a period of 5 consecutive days of public holidays in Moldova, from August 27-31, inclusively.
The declaration of Monday, August 30, 2021, as a one-off public sector holidays in Moldova ("Monday, August 30 will be a day of rest, which will be recovered on Saturday, August 21, 2021"), is in addition to the list of 2021 annual non-working public holidays in Moldova (2020-12-11).
A few years ago, Moldova's Cabinet had similarly declared Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, August 28-29-30, 2018, as a one-off bridge public sector holidays in Moldova to link one weekend and the annual August 27 public holiday and the next weekend and the annual August 31 public holiday of Moldova (2020-11-26).
