The Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Muhammad, Hamza Shafqaat, has announced that the government has declared Thursday, March 25, 2021, as a public holiday for the citizens of Islamabad and Rawalpindi on the occasion of Pakistan Day Parade.
The aforementioned declaration of Thursday, March 25, 2021, as a public holiday in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, as announced in a tweet ("23rd March Parade has been postponed. Therefore 25th March will be a local holiday in Rawalpindi and Islamabad"), is in addition to the annual list of the expected dates for non-working 2021 Pakistani public holidays and optional holidays, as was released by the Ministry of the Interior of the Federal Government of Pakistan, late last year (2020-12-10).
