The Constitutional Affairs Commission of the Lower House of Paraguay has announced that it would support, and recommend to the Lower House plenary session, the presidential proposal to declare Monday, July 19, 2021, as a one-off vaccination national public holiday.

The aforementioned proposal to declare Monday, July 19, 2021, as a one-off vaccination national public holiday in Paraguay, was formally submitted by the Paraguayan Presidency to Congress, yesterday, as had been announced by the Cabinet Minister of the Paraguayan Executive Branch, Hernán Huttemann, "to allocate that day to the immunization of as many people as possible", last week (2021-07-09).

Recall that, so far (2021-01-07), the list of annual public holidays in Paraguay has not yet been extended, as was done in past years (2019-10-28, 2018-12-22, 2017-11-21, 2016-11-22, 2015-12-10, 2014-12-18, 2014-12-07, 2014-01-10 and 2013-01-03).
