Russian President, Vladimir Putin, has signed a decree declaring paid non-working days from October 30 to November 7, 2021 ("I order to declare non-working days with preservation of employees’ salaries from October 30 to November 7, 2021, in order to prevent the further spread of novel coronavirus infections.").

Earlier this year (2021-04-23), the declaration of May 4-7, 2021, as additional public holidays in Russia, also meshed in with the previously-declared list of 2021 Russian public holidays (2020-10-16, 2020-09-25 and 2020-09-10), to create a continuous period of public holidays from May 1-10, 2021.

Similar Covid-19 related public holidays were also declared last year (2020-05-11, 2020-04-28, 2020-04-02 and 2020-03-25).
