The Ministry of the Interior of the Government of Suriname has announced that the upcoming "Ied-Ul-Fitr" (End of Ramadan) annual non-working public holiday would be observed in Suriname on Thursday, May 13, 2021, a date that "is equated with Sunday".
The aforementioned announcement that the upcoming "Ied-Ul-Fitr" (End of Ramadan) annual non-working public holiday of Suriname would be observed on Thursday, May 13, 2021, is in line with the annual list of expected bank holidays and non-working public holidays in Suriname dates for the calendar year 2021, released earlier this year (2021-01-22), but amended once, since then (2021-02-21).
