The government of Timor Leste has issued a press communiqué containing its annual list of official non-working public holidays in Timor Leste for the calendar year 2021 (Os feriados de data fixa e de data variável determinados pela Lei n.º 10/2005, de 10 de agosto, para 2021 são os seguintes).
As usual (2019-12-21, 2019-02-08, 2018-01-09, 2017-01-18, 2016-01-29, 2015-02-27, 2014-02-05, 2013-01-28, 2011-12-28 and 2010-12-30), the aforementioned announcement of the annual list of official non-working public holidays in Timor Leste for the calendar year 2021 (Feriadu sira ho data fiksu no data variavel nian determina husi Lei n.10/2005, loron 10 fulan-agostu, ba tinan 2021 maka hanesan tuir mai ne’e), follows the recent amendments to the legislation governing non-working public holidays in Timor Leste (2016-05-28), as laid down in law No.10/2005, which overhauled Timor Leste's public holidays, 16 years ago (2005-08-12).
The aforementioned list of official public holidays in Timor Leste for the calendar year 2021 applies to both the private and public sectors.
