Trinidad and Tobago 2021 Eid Public Holiday May 13

The Government of Trinidad and Tobago has announced that Thursday, May 13, 2021, had been declared as a non-working public holiday in Trinidad and Tobago, on account of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr (End of Ramadan) annual public holiday of Trinidad and Tobago in 2021 ("Her excellency, Paula-Mae Weekes, president of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago acting in accordance with the provisions of the Public Holidays and Festivals Act, have appointed Thursday May 13th, 2021 as the date of the public holiday in celebration of the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr").

The aforementioned announcement of Thursday, May 13, 2021, as a public holiday, was made by the Trinidad and Tobago Ministry of Communications, earlier today.

Earlier this year (2021-01-01), the Government of Trinidad and Tobago had released an incomplete official list of 2021, non-working public holidays in Trinidad and Tobago, with most movable public holidays marked as TBA (to be announced) as these are traditionally announced at the last-minute (2020-05-04, 2019-05-02, 2018-06-09, 2017-05-28, 2016-06-22, 2015-06-27, 2014-07-10, 2013-07-30, 2013-07-26, 2012-08-03, 2011-08-12, 2010-08-20, 2009-09-14, 2008-09-25, 2007-10-04, 2006-10-06 and 2005-10-13).
