Trinidad and Tobago Divali 2021 Public Holiday November 4

The President of Trinidad and Tobago, Paula-Mae Weekes, has declared Thursday, November 4, 2021, as a public holiday in Trinidad and Tobago, on account of the upcoming 2021 Divali public holiday.

The Divali public holiday of Trinidad and Tobago had been included in the official list of Trinidad and Tobago bank holidays and of non-working public holidays for the calendar year 2021, which was released by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago earlier this year (2021-01-01).

But, as usual (2020-01-03, 2019-01-17, 2018-01-06, 2016-12-29, 2016-01-10, 2014-11-09 and 2012-01-04), that initial list of Trinidad and Tobago bank holidays and of non-working public holidays for the calendar year 2021, marked the Muslim and Hindu public holidays dates as TBA (to be announced).

These are traditionally announced at the last-minute (2021-04-23, 2020-10-20, 2020-02-13, 2019-10-01, 2019-05-02, 2019-01-17, 2018-09-22, 2018-06-09, 2017-09-20, 2017-05-28, 2016-10-05, 2016-06-22, 2015-06-27, 2014-07-10, 2013-10-16, 2013-07-30, 2013-07-26, 2013-04-04, 2011-10-14, 2011-08-12, 2010-10-10 and 2010-08-20).
