The Cabinet of Ministers of the Ukraine has released a draft resolution (О переносе рабочих дней в 2022 году) specifying the official list of 2022 non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, including a decision to postpone 2 working days in 2022, in order to create favorable conditions for the rational use of working time.
The draft announcement of the official list of 2022 non-working public holidays in the Ukraine, comes comes a bit earlier than in some previous years.
At the legislative end, recall that, earlier this year (2021-01-18), the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's unicameral Parliament) began consideration of bill No. 4597, which would stop the Ukrainian practice of declaring bridge public holidays that are compensated by a working Saturday ("Excessive number of working day transfers has a negative impact on productivity, minimizes opportunities to work with investors and donors and generally creates a negative reputation of Ukraine's business potential in the world").
Indeed (2021-01-30), the introduction of Bill 4597 was soon followed by the odd declaration of the list of 2022 public holidays in the Ukraine on the official web-portal of the Parliament of Ukraine, under the heading Calendar of official holidays in Ukraine 2022 (Календар офіційних свят в Україні 2022).
