The Venezuelan regulatory body for the banking sector, Sudeban (Superintendencia de Instituciones del Sector Bancario) has announced that Friday, March 19, 2021, would be a bank holiday in Venezuela, on account of the annual "Día de San José") annual bank holiday of Venezuela.
The aforementioned Friday, March 19, 2021, bank holiday in Venezuela is in line with the official list of the dates for the 2021 public holidays and banking holidays in Venezuela as announced late last autumn by the Sudeban (2020-10-15) in conformity with the "Ley de Reforma Parcial de la Ley de Instituciones del Sector Bancario", which as usual has its own list of additional bank holidays that are not public holidays in Venezuela (2020-12-29, 2021-01-07, 2020-12-11, 2020-01-18, 2020-01-04, ...).
