Bénin 2022 Public Holidays Released

The government of Bénin has released the list of annual non-working public holidays in Bénin for the calendar year 2022.

In the aforementioned listing of the 2022 public holidays in the Bénin, the dates of Muslim public holidays are left to be determined at a later date, as was the case in past years (2020-12-31, 2020-01-06, 2019-01-16, 2018-01-24, 2017-02-11, 2016-02-24, 2015-01-09, 2014-01-12, 2013-02-15 and 2012-02-05).

The confirmation of the 2022 dates of Muslim public holidays in the Bénin will come later in the year, as may also come the declaration of one-off public holidays (2021-10-14, 2021-07-14, 2020-10-27, 2020-07-30, 2019-08-09, 2019-06-03, 2017-01-06, 2016-12-09, 2016-09-08, 2016-08-12, 2016-07-02, 2016-04-05, 2016-03-03, 2015-12-21, 2015-04-19, 2011-11-17, 2011-07-27, 2011-03-10, 2011-01-24, and 2010-05-12).

However, the declaration of one-off non-working public holidays in the Benin has been curtailed in recent years.
