Ukraine's Central Bank, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), has issued a resolution canceling the upcoming Orthodox Easter Monday bank holiday ("all banks in Ukraine will be closed only on Easter Day, April 24, and Monday, April 25, will be a working day for the banking system").
The aforementioned announcement that Monday, April 25, 2022, would be a regular working day in the banking sector, is in line with the recent announcement by the State Labor Service of Ukraine (2022-04-04), that the date of the upcoming Orthodox Easter Monday, April 25, 2022, would be a regular working day, as per the recently enacted Law of Ukraine "On the Organization of Labor Relations in Martial Law" № 2136-IX (2022-03-15).
