coincide with the 2018 Carnival public holidays in Haiti, and most particularly Ash Wednesday. • 23 Feb 2017 Haiti 2017 Carnival Public Holidays Extended (Communiqués de presse de la Présidence de la Governing Law: Official public holidays in Haïti are regulated by articles 107-119, in particular 110 and 111, of the Décret du 24 février 1984 actualisant le Code du travail du 12 septembre 1961 as modified by the Loi du jeudi 5 juin 2003 actualisant le Code du travail du 12 septembre 1961. • Working Holidays: The above-mentioned decrees and laws list some holidays as non-working (jours fériés chômés), and some as working holidays (jours fériés non chômés).
