The error codes below correspond to operating system error and hardware failures that prevented QuarkXPress from saving or opening a file during diary generation or saras processing :

 

-33: DIRFULERR = directory full

-34: DSKFULERR = disk full error

-35: NSVERR = specified volume doesn't exist.

-36: IOERR = i/o error

-37: BDNAMERR = bad file name

-38: FNOPNERR = File not open

-39: EOFERR = unexpected end-of-file

-40: OSERR = Attempt to position mark before BOF

-42: TMFOERR = too many files open (can't open file)

-43: FNFERR = file not found error

-44: WPRERR = volume locked - hardware

-45: FLCKDERR = a portion of the file is r/w locked

-45: FLLCKEDERR = publisher writing to an edition

-46: VLCKDERR = volume locked - software

-47: FBSYERR = section doing i/o

-48: DUPFNERR = file already exists

-49: OPWRERR = file already open for writing

-50: ARAMERR = Error in parameter list

-51: RFNUMERR = reference number invalid

-52: GFPERR = Error during GetFPos()

-53: VOLOFFLINERR = volume not online error (was Ejected)

-54: ERMERR = open locked (shared) file for write

-58: EXTFSERR = external file system

-59: FSRNERR = problem during rename

-60: BADMDBERR = bad master disk block

-61: WRPERMERR = permission doesn't allow writing

-98: ORTNOTCF = error return from device driver
