This scanning message will appear when using InDesign for any table that contains more than 1000 cells.

 

In such cases, there is hardly any space to display any text, and it is assumed that the table is there only to serve as rules or square background, perhaps with some text or symbols, but which in all cases contains no tokens.

 

This means that:

 

➢Tokens in any of the cells of the current table will be ignored.

➢Saras will not be applied to the current table.

 

Using InDesign tables as replacement for vertical and horizontal rules is not recommended as InDesign tables are extremely heavy and complex.
