This message will appear if you try to scan or inspect a QuarkXPress document which was last saved as a Macintosh file (ie. was not saved as a Windows file) or might be somehow corrupted.

Solution (QuarkXPress)

To solve this problem, open the file in the Windows version of QuarkXPress and save it once.
