Filename

This is the name of the MS-Excel file that will be created to hold the exported data. By default, Q++Studio will offer to save the exported holidays to a file in the c:\qpp\export\ folder, but you can change this default.

Include contents of collapsed groups

If this option is set to true, then all groups will be expanded prior to being exported to Excel. This option allows you to export all the holidays of the current view (or selection, see next option) without the need to expand each group.

Save dates as text

By default Q++Studio will export holidays and their information trying to respect the data format of MS-Excel. For example dates will be exported as dates and numbers as numbers. The advantage is that you can then view data such as dates in the native language of your PC and you can also further manipulate the exported date in MS-Excel. If you set this option to true, all data will be exported as plain text which will prevent you from further analysis of the exported data.

Format Data as Q++Studio World Holidays

When holidays are exported using this option, variable holiday names are calculated for each specific date (as opposed to showing the full text of the name, including all possible variations), and partial holidays (those with a non-blank Observance field) are displayed in gray.

Include Abbreviations, Symbols and Watermarks

Displays 3 additional columns, displaying the abbreviation, symbols and watermark of each holiday.

Different years in different tabs

Displays the exported data of different years in different tabs. Prior to export, the data is sorted by year, then country name, then holiday date and then, finally, by observance.

➢This option is mutually exclusive with the Different Holidays Sets in different tabs option below, and is not available if any of the data columns are grouped at the time of exporting.

Different Holidays Sets in different tabs

Displays the exported data of different Holidays Sets in different tabs. Prior to export, the data is sorted by country name, then holiday date and then, finally, by observance.

➢This option is mutually exclusive with the Different years in different tabs option above, and is not available if any of the data columns are grouped at the time of exporting.

Include rules on non-linked holidays

Displays an additional column which describes the rule used to calculate each holiday. Note that the rules thus exported are only those you created without copying them from one of the worldwide public holidays database, whose rules cannot be exported for licensing and confidentiality reasons.

Use ancestor ID

Replaces the ID of each holiday by the ID of the ancestor to that holiday (if there is one).

Use ISO Country Codes

Replaces the ID of each set by the ISO 2-letter code corresponding to that country.
