Property of the script line: Inserts.

This property is used to interpret the selection of February 28 in the repeating dates property of an Insert script line, and has 3 possible values:

Always

This means that the selection of February 28 is to be taken at face value. An insertion will only on every February 28 (including in leap years).

Not in

Leap Years

This means that the selection of February 28 will not cause an insertion to occur if the month of February has 29 days (ie. it will only trigger an insertion on non-leap years).

Only in

Leap Years

This means that the selection of February 28 will cause an insertion to occur only if the month of February has 29 days (ie. it will only trigger an insertion on leap years).

This property is useful in daily diaries, with a monthly insert, where you want each month to start on the right page. In such cases you must insert either 1 or 2 pages depending if the month before has an even or odd number of days.

Setting the above property to Not in leap years lets you select February 28 as a repeating date of the insert that relates to even days months and February 29 as a repeating date in the insertion block that relates to months that contain an odd number of days, without the risk of having insertions on both February 28 and 29 on leap years.

This avoids having to create an insertion block for 28-day February and remembering to disable it on leap years.

Note that the interpretation of the selection of February 29 in repeating dates is unambiguous; it will only lead to an insertion when February 29 occurs, that is on leap years.
