The number of pages as totaled in the property # defined pages of the Book Format script line, is larger than the value of the property signature pages.

 

➢One of the possible cases when the generated number of pages, and the defined number of pages might differ is when using tokens to delete pages

 

This message is an indication that the pagination of your script is wrong.

 

In some cases, the design-time calculation of pages is incorrect (though the run-time, during generation, is correct). This will sometimes happen with templates where is is difficult to guess how many pages are needed to cover a certain number of days,

 

Examples of such templates are 7 days on 2 pages, 7 days on 4 pages, 7 days on 6 pages.

 

Another possible reason for the value of this property to be wrong at design-time are when script lines have a force start property set to a value different than "none".

 

Solution

 

If signatures are not too important to you, the use the pop-up menu suggestion of Let Q++Studio guess signatures for you.

 

Otherwise you can set the signatures in detail using the pop-up menu option Edit Signatures.
