Multiple Tabs Generation

Scroll Prev Up Next More
The Multiple Tabs Generation dialog is used to specify how a series of tabulations should be automatically generated.

This dialog is usually called from the tabs page of the paragraph attributes page control.

There are 2 ways to have tabulations be generated automatically:

Step and Repeat: using this option, you specify the position of the first tab, the number of tabs to generate and the spacing between each tab. Note that the number of total tabs includes the first tab.

Divide Interval: using this option, you specify the position of the first and last tab, and the total number of tabs to generate. Q++Studio then automatically calculates the spacing between each tab. Note that the number of total tabs includes the first tab and the last tab.

The Clear all existing tabs option is used to clear the current list of tabs, before adding the automatically generated ones.

Note that the measurements above are specified using the very powerful mesurements editors which can save you a lot of time when setting up a GridTemplate. If you are not familiar with the properties of these edit controls, click on their link to learn more about them.
