Cannot find ColorByName, using Magenta !

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

This message occurs, during diary generation, if the current script calls for the setting of a color, specified by its name, the default internal, as well as external, method of having Quark identify a pCode requested color in the output file color database, since late 2014.

The ColorByName method of color matching is very accurate in general, and you should always make sure that in Preferences, and in Diary Generation Options, you have set the Color Matching setting to Color Name.

If this message occurs it is usually because the color name you are using contains non-ASCII characters. You should avoid using non-ASCII characters in color names.
