Creating Shortcuts to the Windows Explorer

By default, if you create a shortcut to the Explorer.exe program, the Windows Explorer will open up with an unwanted folder selected (and if you did noyt follow the tips of the previous chapter, it will appear as a plain window where drives, folders and files are displayed using cute but uninformative icons).


To create shortcuts to the Windows Explorer that open up with the desired folder selected, for example QppShare, use the following syntax in the Target and the Start in fields of the shortcut properties dialog :



This can be applied to existing or new shortcuts.
