The Q++ Documentation is available in both HTML-Help and PDF Manual formats. HTML help is good at pinpoint access (that is what is used for contextual help from within Q++), while the PDF Manual version of the documentation allows you to browse it like a book.
The PDF Manual is accessible from the HELP|online manual menu.
The book-like presentation of the PDF format is useful for some topics which follow each other, and it also has features that ordinary books do not have :
•An interactive Table of Contents, on the left lets you navigate the topics hierarchy easily.
•Hyperlinks (text in green) reference other topics and let you jump directly to these topics.
•Hypergraphics (cursor changes to a hand) let you click on parts of an image and jump to the appropriate topic.
•An Index which can be combined with the page navigator (at the bottom of the window) to quickly jump to index entries.
To view the PDF Manual, the Adobe Acrobat Reader must be installed on your workstation. If it is not installed yet, you can download it (it's free) from the adobe web site at (www.adobe.com/products/acrobat).
