Section refers to non-existent pages

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Cause : In the BookFormat ScriptLine, the Ouput Flow property is set to Sections but one of the sections rules refers to pages that do not exist (usually these are page numbers beyong the number of Signature Pages).

Consequences : You can still preview or generate a diary for the current script; any reference to pages exceeding the number of signature pages will be ignored by Q++.

Solutions :

Modify the list of Physical Sections (recommended) : Opens the Physical Sections property editor and lets you change section rules. Usually you should replace the offending section rule by an all other pages section.

Change to Standard Flow : Changes the setting of the Output Flow property from sections to standard, thus making the physical sections irrelevant.
