There are X undefined pages

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Cause : The number of pages as totaled in the property # Defined Pages of the BookFormat ScriptLine, is less than Signature Pages.

This message is a hint if X < 32 or a warning if X >= 32.

Consequences : Q++ will let you generate a diary and will insert undefined blank pages at the end on the diary. This message should be addressed before you do your final run; as it is an indication that the pagination of your Script is wrong.

Solutions :

Let Q++ guess signatures for you : Q++ guesses the number of signatures and their page count based on the type of GridTemplate used. This is usually a good first choice which allows you to move on. You can then fine-tune the pagination later.

Edit Signatures : Opens the Signatures property editor so you can edit this property manually.

Modify "Begin Rule" of Main Grid : Lets you change the Begin Rule of the current script's main DiaryGridLine.

Modify "End Rule" of Main Grid : Lets you change the End Rule of the current script's main DiaryGridLine.
