Many elements of the Q++ interface elements feature Tooltips. Tooltips are small popup windows which name the element's function.

Most of the time, if a tooltip appears, a more detailed description will also appear in the status bar.of the Q++ Main Window. Note :
•While tooltips are most often used for buttons, many interface elements for which a tooltip would not be appropriate, will display a description of their function or a useful tip in the status bar.
•All status bar messages appear in the status bar of the Q++ Main Window, even if the element generating this message is in another dialog.
If have a doubt about some element of Q++, let your mouse hover over it and look at the status bar.
