Variables are used in macro code to store a value that you have either set or calculated, and which you can use in further instructions.

 

Variables must be declared before using them.

 

Variables are typed, and their name reflects their type.

 

Q++ supplies information about the current Script and DiaryGridLine, through the system variables which you can use in your macros.

 

The following sections cover all of the above aspects.
