This message occurs when trying to scan a template or generate a diary, and it means that there is a problem with the setup of the version of QuarkXPress you are presently trying to use with Q++Studio.

➢When using QuarkXPress 2018, the cause for the present message can sometimes be traced to design-time error messages in the messages window which have not been addressed, such as in the example on the right.

Otherwise, if no message such as the above is appearing, and you are able to launch QuarkXPress manually, then you can use the update internal QuarkXPress menu item.
