The International Preferences page of the preferences dialog lets you set default values for the most commonly used properties of the International script line.

 

Default Language for new scripts

If most of your diaries are unilingual, and use the same language, set this language as default here.

Most often used Languages

A list of the languages you use the most often (including the one selected above). These will then appear in the popup menu which appears when selecting design-time message that refer to the need to select a Language.

Most often used Holidays Sets

A list of the holidays sets you use the most often. These will then appear in the popup menu which appears when selecting design-time message that refer to the need to select a Holidays Set.

Astronomical Calculations

The method used by Q++Studio to calculate astronomical data such as sunrises/sunsets, moonrise/moonset, and various other astronomical events. This was a transitional option, used during 2004 and 2005, but is no longer applicable.

Default Moon

Data Source

The default Moon data source, and calculation options, to be used in new scripts to convert Moon tokens.

Default Sun

Data Source

The default Sun data source, and calculation options, to be used in new scripts to convert Sun tokens.

Default Jewish

Data Source

The default Jewish data source, and calculation options, to be used in new scripts to convert Jewish tokens.

Default Muslim

Data Source

The default Muslim data source, and calculation options, to be used in new scripts to convert Muslim tokens (for both date and times).
