Windows 10 64-bit is the recommended version of Windows to use on the computer or virtual machine, used as server, for the XV4 version of Q++Studio.

The computer or virtual machine, used as server for the XV4 version of Q++Studio, can also run Windows 2016 Server (64-bit) or Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (SP1) (not recommended for security reasons) or Windows 11 (64-bit).

 

Latest Version of Windows

 

The computer or virtual machine, used as server for the XV4 version of Q++Studio, can also run Windows 11, but as of April 2024, it is not recommended, as it is so new, and support by QuarkXPress and InDesign is still unconfirmed.
