Default Precision

 

By default, depending on the Size Units used, Q++Studio rounds off QuarkXPress and InDesign document sizes to:

 

•Centimeters: 2 decimals (eg. 15.75 cm).

•Inches: 4 decimals (eg. 5.8125 inches).

•Points: no decimal (eg. 234 points)

 

Extra Precision

 

In some cases you may need to have an extra decimal of accuracy. In those cases set this property to true to obtain the following:

 

•Centimeters: 3 decimals (eg. 15.755 cm).

•Inches: 5 decimals (eg. 5.81275 inches).

•Points: 1 decimal (eg. 234.3 points)

 

The default precision is usually sufficient and this property should usually be set to false (the default value for any new script).
