This scanning message appears in a textbox where all the opening and closing braces [] are matched except for a single opening brace [ that occurs after the last matching pair of braces.

For example:

   [1d] [1Dddd] [1w

If you do not see the offending brace, it may be because you are using a special font (such as holidays boxes) where the braces characters are replaced by another character.
