This scanning message appears in a textbox where there are 2 opening braces [ that occur before any closing brace that would match the first opening brace.

 

For example:

  [[1d] [1Dddd]

or:

  [1mc+04:Z~6[a1mmmm]

If you do not see the offending brace, it may be because you are using a special font (such as holidays boxes) where the braces characters are replaced by another character.

 

If you wish to use text containing actual braces, make sure you add an underscore to each brace, [_ and _], to specify that the text contained is not a token.
