Tmc_2x3y_Fraction — XML implementation

Scroll Prev Up Next More

This topic covers the implementation details of Tmc_2x3y_Fraction.

Scope: TypeDefinitions.pas; record. Prepared from the curated implementation supplied for this review on 2 October 2026.

Native split-date formatting for the two date numbers and separator. fmt2324, fmt3031 and fmtSEP delegate to TmcTextSettings; separator, skew and tracking fields are integers/strings in their stored units.

Initialize supplies separator / and default font settings. IsDefault controls empty typed-node export. Do not confuse Track2324/Track3031 with a universal tracking scale without the formatter’s unit definition.

Notation and shared helper rules: Reading this reference.

XML identity and composition

Literal rec_type values emitted within these routines: Tmc_2x3y_Fraction. Nested values may belong to child wrappers rather than this owner itself; the attribute entries below give their exact locations.

Structures used directly by this XML implementation:

TmcTextSettings

Exact XML fields and attributes

The paths below start at this record or property node. A slash identifies a child element; @ identifies an attribute. Curly braces mark a variable index or expression, not literal XML text. Initial values describe initialization; they do not establish what an omitted individual element does. The Implementation toggle below contains the supplied routines for exact branch order and conversions.

strSEP

XML representation: The text of the strSEP element.

Initial value: “/” (Tmc_2x3y_Fraction.Initialize).

Reading: Reads the element into strSEP when the record node exists.

Writing: Stores strSEP when the record’s DoesSomething check succeeds.

SkewSep

XML representation: The text of the SkewSep element.

Initial value: 0 (Tmc_2x3y_Fraction.Initialize).

Reading: Reads the element into SkewSep when the record node exists.

Writing: Stores the text representation of SkewSep when the record’s DoesSomething check succeeds.

Track2324

XML representation: The text of the Track2324 element.

Initial value: 0 (Tmc_2x3y_Fraction.Initialize).

Reading: Reads the element into Track2324 when the record node exists.

Writing: Stores the text representation of Track2324 when the record’s DoesSomething check succeeds.

Track3031

XML representation: The text of the Track3031 element.

Initial value: 0 (Tmc_2x3y_Fraction.Initialize).

Reading: Reads the element into Track3031 when the record node exists.

Writing: Stores the text representation of Track3031 when the record’s DoesSomething check succeeds.

TrackSepLeft

XML representation: The text of the TrackSepLeft element.

Initial value: 0 (Tmc_2x3y_Fraction.Initialize).

Reading: Reads the element into TrackSepLeft when the record node exists.

Writing: Stores the text representation of TrackSepLeft when the record’s DoesSomething check succeeds.

TrackSepRight

XML representation: The text of the TrackSepRight element.

Initial value: 0 (Tmc_2x3y_Fraction.Initialize).

Reading: Reads the element into TrackSepRight when the record node exists.

Writing: Stores the text representation of TrackSepRight when the record’s DoesSomething check succeeds.

@rec_type

XML representation: The rec_type attribute.

Writing: Stores the literal text “Tmc_2x3y_Fraction” whenever the writer reaches this field.

Storage declarations relevant to interpretation

These are in-memory member and property types, not a list of mandatory XML children. They retain array bounds, fixed buffers and selector types. The field reference above defines what is actually serialized.

The Implementation toggle contains only Tmc_2x3y_Fraction methods. Initializers and helpers belonging to other types are identified separately below. Shared XML-helper limitations are explained in Reading this reference.
