XML identifiers are used to represent all the script lines, script line properties, and internal data structures, used to represent scripts as xml.

Although the XML representation of Q++Studio scripts does not contain the actual contents of referenced InDesign or QuarkXPress templates or the underlying names and contents of referenced database records, most AI assistants understand are able to offer precise advice based on the XML version of a script.

There are 3 categories of XML identifiers:

Script Lines

Script Line Properties

Internal Data Structures

The links above can be used to search for specific options in the xml script viewer.

In the xml scripts editor, it is possible to copy elements from one script to the other, if their XML identifier is the same.
