Bangladesh's Secretary to the Religious Affairs Ministry, Kazi Habibul Awal, has announced that Bangladesh's National Moon Sighting Committee had determined that the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha (Feast of Sacrifice), would be observed on Saturday, October 27, 2012.
The aforementioned announcement, is in line with the "DFIM Circular Letter No. 20" and the "DOS Circular Letter No. 22", and "Govt. Notification No. 05.00.0000.173.08.005.11-325/1(150) dated 03-11-2011" of the Ministry of Public Administration, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh (01-Jan-2012) which announced the official list of non-working public holidays in Bangladesh for the calendar year 2012.
