Governing Law: The list and dates of the official public holidays of Monaco are regulated by the Loi n° 798 du 18 février 1966 portant fixation des jours fériés légaux and the Loi n° 800 du 18 février 1966 régissant la rémunération et les conditions de travail relatives aux jours fériés légaux, as amended by the law 1005 of July 4, 1978, and law 1020 of July 5, 1979.
Fête Nationale: although the feast of St Albert is on November 15th, His Highness Albert II decided to keep observing it on November 19th, date on which Rainier d'Arezzo was previously celebrated, under the impulsion of Prince Rainier III.

Ascension Friday: some banks and businesses may be closed.
Although not official public holidays, Good Friday (the Friday before Easter), Saint John The Baptist Day (June 24th), and Saint Roman Day (August 9th) are days that are celebrated with festivities.
